I have begun writing music for a local production of a new show called “Understudies”. I will post up some more details as they are known, but here is a draft of the opening number.

Riding High – a new smooth jazz piece
I started working on this piece back on an ipad hooked up to a keyboard. It was interesting and moving it to Logic illuminated many of the problems, but it was a fun process and I thought I would share it.
It is a cross between Andrew York’s Lotus Eaters, Bob James’ Movin’ on and Dave Grusin’s Mountain Dance. Hope you enjoy
